Deputies charge man accused of sexually assaulting minors

Bradley Alexander Thompson has been charged with criminal sexual conduct with three minors, said Sumter County deputies.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Sumter man has been arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct with three minors, according to a press release.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says on Sunday, August 18, deputies responded to a call from individuals who wished to report that young children claimed to have been assaulted
sexually by Bradley Alexander Thompson.

As deputies began to investigate, the children were taken by their parents to be examined by a physician.

Following further investigation and forensic interviews, it is alleged that on or between the dates of May 1, 2024, and August 18, 2024, Thompson did engage in sexual battery with three minor children.

It is also alleged that the 20-year-old admitted to committing these acts.

He was taking to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and his bond has been denied.
