Pedestrian dead after collision in Kershaw County

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A pedestrian is dead after a collision in Kershaw County on US 1, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Authorities say the collision occurred around 12:35 a.m. on US 1 near the intersection with Logan Road on Sunday, Sept 8.
A 2005 Cadillac Sedan was traveling north when it hit a pedestrian, who was walking in the northbound lane.
Highway patrol says the pedestrian died at Prisma Health Richland on Wednesday, September 11, due to their injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
