Orangeburg deputies investigating cold case

“This case is two years old but we’re not dropping it,” Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “There’s somebody out there who knows exactly what happened.”

Orangeburg, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies in Orangeburg Co. are looking for answers in a 2022 shooting death.

“This case is two years old but we’re not dropping it,” Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “There’s somebody out there who knows exactly what happened.”

According to investigators, on October 15, 2022 deputies responded to what was then the Regional Medical Center to a reported gunshot victim.

Deputies say the victim, Michael Frasier arrived at the hospital conscious but ultimately died.

Investigators say they were able to determine the shooting took place near a home on St. David St.
