Major movie theatres unveils makeover plan

(CNN)– You will soon see some new upgrades the next time you go to the movie theater.

The industry group representing the largest 8 theater chains in then U.S. and Canada has announced it was investing more than $2 billion in new upgrades.

Some of the renovations include new projection technology, better sound systems and seating, revamped carpeting, and better food.

The Trade Group also says arcades and bowling may also be added to the theaters.
