Boeing workers pressured to put speed over quality, FAA says
(CNN)– Workers for Boeing say they felt pressured to focus on production speed over quality.
That summary comes from a special investigation published on Wednesday, Sept. 25, by the FAA which was made public by a Senate subcommittee.
In the report, employees say they did not feel trained enough to do their jobs.
Boeing has been facing multiple investigations since a door plug blew-off a 737 Max flight in mid air back in January.
In response to the new report, Boeing says the company has taken key steps to create a safety culture that encourages employees to share their voice.
