Pet food recalled due to salmonella, listeria concerns

(CNN)– You are going to want to check your dog’s food.

“Answers Pet Food” company is voluntarily withdrawing some of its beef and chicken food.

It comes after samples reportedly tested positive for salmonella and listeria bacteria.

The products in question are detailed and straight beef formulas and straight chicken formula.

They were distributed across the U.S. in four pound bags and also sold online.

The company says the dog food is being withdrawn out of an abundance of caution.
