9th Annual Purple Gala to honor domestic violence survivors & victims starts this Saturday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – One non-profit is hosting a special gala to honor survivors and victims of domestic violence this weekend.

She Did That Events, LLC’s 9th Annual Purple Gala is this Saturday at 7 p.m. and the Purple Brunch starts at 1:30 p.m. this Sunday. Both are being held at Venue817 on St. Andrews Road.

Curtis spoke with the Founder/CEO of She Did That Events, Tina Torres.

She says proceeds from the masked black-tie formal gala provides essentials like temporary shelter, transportation, food, clothing, and hygiene products to those in need.

The gala will feature live music, guest speakers and much more.

Tickets for the gala are $55 and $555 for a VIP Table for 8.
