SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 29-year-old man has been arrested after a search warrant led to his arrest, say deputies.

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant led to the arrest of Dmikel Naqwan Woods for allegedly possessing and trafficking drugs, as well as possessing a weapon during a violent crime.

On September 25, the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at two homes investigators say Woods uses.

During the search of one home, deputies found methamphetamine, fentanyl, illegal narcotics, and a weapon.

Woods was arrested and taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.

His bond has been denied.
