American Cancer Society held its annual ‘Ann Riley Pink Tea’

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On Thursday morning, Oct. 3, the American Cancer Society held its annual ‘Ann Riley Pink Tea’ at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.

The event is dedicated to honoring great cancer survivors and caregivers.

This year’s theme was South Carolinian’ ability to access quality and affordable health care.

ABC Columbia spoke with co-chair of “Cover SC”’s Curtis Pugh, who believes this includes the expansion of medicaid benefits.
