Churches gather supplies for Helene victims

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Midlands Faith Community is coming together to aid the victims of Hurricane Helene.

At St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pomaria, two trucks are being loaded with donations from churches throughout the area.

The donations will then make their way to a church in North Carolina.

Organizers say it is what they are called to do during times of need.
