COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) says there will be a temporary, single-lane closure on Clemson Road to assist with utility relocation.

SCDOT expects the closure to last until December.

Also, officials want people to note that businesses on Clemson Road will not lose access.

There will be cones placed so that traffic will be allowed in and out of businesses in the area, but sidewalks in the highlighted areas will also be closed.

Drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention when driving through the work zone.
