Columbia firefighter suspended following DUI arrest

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A Columbia firefighter has been suspended after he was arrested and charged with DUI Monday evening.

Columbia-Richland Fire Department says Jacob Sloan is placed on investigatory suspension after he was arrested by Richland County deputies.

He has been a part of the department since 2023.

This incident remains under investigation.
