Starbucks sales plunge
(CNN)– The world’s largest coffee chain is seeing a major slip in sales.
On Tuesday night, Starbucks released it preliminary earnings report revealing a sharp drop in sales for the third consecutive quarter.
U.S. sales were down 6% and sales in Chine were down 14%.
Starbucks’ new CEO Brian Niccol says he plans to improve company finances with a stream-lined menu and better attention to customer satisfaction.
The company is expected to release its full earning report on Oct. 30.
