Lexington man arrested on sexual exploitation of minors charges

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lexington man was arrested on charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors, says the AG’s Office.

Jared Allen Harmon, 22, was arrested October 24 on 5 charges in connection with the sexual exploitation of minors.

Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to Harmon.

Officials state Harmon distributed files of child sexual abuse material.

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department made the arrest.
