Pine Street in South Congaree to close for bridge repairs, says SCDOT

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) crews will close Pine Street in South Congaree from East Steel Road to Edmund Highway for bridge repairs, said SCDOT.

The closure will begin on Monday, November 4, and will last around a week.

As part of the closure, a detour route will be in place.

SCDOT said Pine Street will be open to local traffic only, except at the bridge site.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the work zone.
