RCSD investigating after shooting at event venue leaves 1 dead
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies say they are investigating after a shooting at an event venue happened over the weekend.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at Suite Sixty (9221 Two Notch Road) on Friday, Oct. 25, around 11:30 p.m.
When deputies arrived at the scene they met with the venue security who told them there was a victim inside with gunshot wounds.
A Richland County deputy located the victim and began lifesaving measures, says RCSD.
According to witnesses, a large fight had broke out inside Suite Sixty and the victim was shot several times by a suspect who was outside the building.
The person left the location before deputies’ arrived to the scene, say deputies.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries.
