SCHP: Teen hit, killed in Sumter collision

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SC troopers say a Sumter County teen was killed after being hit by a truck.

Investigators say 15-year-old Marvin Butler was hit by a 2014 Dodge pickup around 6 in the morning while walking on Britton Road.

Officials have not confirmed whether the driver will be facing any charges.

The collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
