Demand rises for super giant TVs

(CNN)– Super giant televisions are flying off store selves. TV’s that measure 97 inches and more diagonally across are also known as XXL TV’s.

They are becoming a Hugh hit thanks to cheaper prices. Research firm Circana says prices for 98 inch TV’s have fallen 53% from a year ago.

And sales have soared 877% over the past year. However, ultra-large televisions still are not cheap.

Many of the options range in price between $1700 to $3000.
