SCDOT to permanently close I-26 westbound Off-Ramp to Bush River Road

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will permanently close the westbound I-26 off-ramp to Bush River Road overnight on Tuesday.

Tuesday, November 12, access to Bush River Road from westbound I-26 will be available by the expanded Colonial Life Boulevard and I-126 Interchange.

SCDOT says this is the third and final step to permanently change the traffic pattern on Bush River Road to allow for future improvements to the I-26/I-20/I-126 interchange.

Exiting to Bush River Road from I-26 westbound:

Drivers traveling from I-26 westbound to Bush River Road will use the new Colonial Life Boulevard exit from the right lane on I-126 westbound just past St. Andrews Road.

Additionally, drivers are advised to use caution and follow all traffic signage as SCDOT continues to enhance the safety and accessibility of the Carolina Crossroads corridor.
