Serve and Connect holds 8th annual Bountiful Harvest event

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Members of “Serve and Connect” and the Lexington Police Department joined together for their 8th annual “Bountiful Harvest” event at the Icehouse Pavilion.

On Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, officers packed 500 “Greg’s Groceries” holiday-themed boxes of food.

Once filled community members were invited to grab one of the ready-to-go boxes along with a frozen chicken.

Free community resources and a catered meal from Hudson’s Barbecue were also given to everybody at Wednesday’s event.
