Orangeburg County investigators searching for man believed to be connected to vehicle theft
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County investigators are searching for a man believed to be connected to the theft of a vehicle, said the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said that on Friday night, November 22, a vehicle owner entered the Quick Pantry at the fork of Bamberg Highway and Highway 4.
Then security camera video showed a silver Dodge Charger pulling up adjacent to the victim’s 2007 Saturn Vue.
One person from the Dodge was seen entering the store while a second person from the Dodge got into the victim’s minivan and left the area.
The stolen vehicle was later recovered by the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify the driver of the Dodge, who was caught on video.
