Traffic stop leads to arrest, seizure of illegal narcotics
CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A traffic stop in Calhoun County led to an arrest and the seizure of illegal narcotics, say deputies.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Erion Derrell Harris was charged after deputies stopped a vehicle close to midnight on Sunday, November 24.
The traffic stop was made on Caw Caw Hwy and Stabler Farm Rd for defective vehicle equipment, according to investigators.
Deputies, and K9 Ace, found 10 grams of methamphetamine, 3.5 grams of heroin, and 3.4 grams of cocaine during the traffic stop.
Harris was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
At bond hearing on Tuesday, November 26, Harris was given a $450,000 cash surety bond.
