Endangered Allendale man found safe

SOUTH CAROLINA (WOLO) – South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has issued an Endangered Person Alert for a missing man from Allendale.

Deputies say Ralph Payne, 77, was last seen on the Allendale Fairfax Highway on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

SLED says he may be driving a black 2015 Toyota Prius, with a South Carolina license plate XGD277.

His vehicle was last seen in Orangeburg on Tuesday at around 5:30 p.m.

Payne is described as being 5’7″, weighing approximately 185 pounds, with brown eyes and white hair.

SLED says they believe he was wearing a Carolina Gamecocks golf shirt, black jeans, and black slide-on shoes.
