Busiest travel day during Thanksgiving week
(CNN)– Sunday, Dec. 1, lived up to its hype as one of the busiest travel days of the year.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says more than 3 million people were screened at airports across the country, making it the busiest day ever for air travel.
Sunday eclipsed the precious record set in July.
