Local Living: Vets’ Christmas Charity Ride, Cram-A-Cruiser, Holiday Lights on the River

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the Columbia VA is hosting their annual Vets’ Christmas Charity Ride this weekend.

Hundreds of motorcyclists will ride from Carolina Honda to the Dorn VA Medical center and donate gifts to Veterans.

The event starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 8.

 

The Sumter Police Department is asking for donations for their “Cram-A-Cruiser” event.

It takes place this Saturday, December 7 and next Saturday, December 14.

Sumter PD will have a police cruiser parked in front of Walmart located at 1283 Broad Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

They are expecting new unwrapped toys for local children in need this holiday season.

 

The Midland’s largest drive-thru light show is now underway.

Holiday Lights on the River opens nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Saluda Shoals Park until December 31.

You and the family can enjoy millions of sparkling lights, the Winter wonder tube slide, a hayride, visits from Santa himself, and more.
