Family of Zelig Williams continues the search after more than 2 months since disappearance

WATEREE, SC (WOLO) — The search for 28-year-old Columbia man Zelig Williams continues.

Tuesday, family, friends and others hiked the Palmetto Trail where Zelig’s car was found, near the Congaree National Park.

Zelig’s family have also welcomed the help of a group of private investigators known as ‘We Are the Essentials’.

One Richland County resident says he was moved to help in the search effort after hearing about the story on the news. He encourages other neighbors to join in future searches.

Ultimately, Zelig’s mother, Kathy Williams, says she still holds out hope and believes her son is alive.

The search for Zelig continues Thursday morning at 8:30 at the same trailhead.
