Lexington Police asking for public’s help identifying person accused of attempting to use counterfeit bill
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a person accused of trying to pass a counterfeit bill to a cashier.
Officers say on November 22, someone attempted to pass a counterfeit $50 bill to a cashier at Hobby Lobby.
When the cashier checked the bill and found it to be fake, the person left the store without making a purchase, according to police.
