Richland County coroner identifies teen whose body was discovered after Sunday shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Richland County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the teen whose body was discovered after Sunday shooting, said the coroner’s office.

According to the coroner’s office, the shooting happened on Sunday, December 15, in the 100 block of Hunting Avenue.

Coroner Rutherford said, the victim was identified as Jayen Gladden, 15, of Hopkins.

“We will continue working with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department to fully investigate this shooting.” Coroner Rutherford states.
