LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department has partnered with For Life Medical Transport to collect toys that will be taken to Rutherford County, North Carolina to support families who were impacted by Hurricane Helene.
On Friday, December 20, Community Action Team officers and For Life Medical Transport will take a trailer filled with toys to the Cliffside Fire & Rescue Station in Cliffside,
North Carolina to give to children there.
Anyone who can’t make it to a collection event, can make toy donations at the Lexington Police Department which is located at 111 Maiden Lane in downtown Lexington throughout the week.
All cash and check donations will be used to purchase toys for the drive.
