SC Treasurer’s Office: Millions in unclaimed cash

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– State Treasurer Curtis Loftis is hoping you find some extra cash in your stocking this Christmas.

Loftis says there is millions in unclaimed cash out there left over from dormant bank accounts, tax refunds, or inheritances.

Some folks with money available include people like Santa Jones of Lexington, Lorick Elves of Columbia, and Leila Griswald of West Columbia.
