Plane from Midlands makes emergency landing on NY thruway

Albany, NY (WOLO/WTEN)– A small plane that left the Midlands Friday morning made an emergency landing in Albany, New York.
New York State Police say the small twin engine plane landed on a thruway Friday afternoon after leaving Winnsboro at 8:30am.
Officials say there were three people on board and no injuries were reported.
According to flight data, the plane was originally bound for Vermont before making its unscheduled stop.
