Tesla recalls nearly 700K vehicles due to tire pressure system issue

(CNN)– Tesla is recalling nearly 700 thousand vehicles because of an issue with the tire pressure monitoring system warning light.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the affected vehicles include certain model years of the cyber-truck, model three, and model y vehicles.

Officials say the tire pressure monitoring system on the vehicles may not stay lit.

To fix the problem Tesla is releasing a free, over-the-air software update to vehicle owners.
