Here are the do’s and don’ts for recycling after Christmas

(WLOS) — The day after Christmas is one of the busiest days of the year for recycling facilities, and it is important to remember that not everything can be recycled.
The following CAN be recycled:
- Christmas trees
- Plain wrapping paper
- Plain holiday cards
- Cardboard boxes
- Strings of lights
The following CANNOT be recycled:
- Foil
- Metallic wrapping paper
- Glittery wrapping paper
- Tissue paper
- Ribbon
- Bows
- Plastic gift bags
