Lexington County deputies asking for help finding 21-year-old wanted for assault

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies are asking for your help finding a 21-year-old wanted for assault, said the sheriff’s department.

Tony Bernard Gantt is wanted on two counts of assault/battery of a high and aggravated nature in connection with a home invasion that resulted in a death last month near Gaston.

He is also accused of other charges.

Gantt is 5’4″ and weighs 145 pounds, according to investigators.

Also, he was last seen yesterday, Wednesday, January 1, wearing dark pants, dark shoes and a dark winter coat with a hood.

If you know where Gantt might be or if you see him, law enforcement said do not approach or confront him, call 911 immediately.
