Biltmore Estate unveils 2025 exhibit featuring treasures of King Tut’s tomb

The Biltmore Estate has announced a new addition to be featured in 2025, taking visitors back in time.

According to the release, this year marks a milestone in the Biltmore’s history: its 130th anniversary.

“Since opening its doors in 1895, Biltmore has been an oasis. Following the challenges posed by Tropical Storm Helene, Biltmore continues to provide a place of serenity and inspiration, embracing the new year with a renewed sense of strength and hospitality,” Biltmore wrote in the release.

In light of its anniversary and resilience, the Biltmore has proudly announced the coming of a new “world-class exhibition” called Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures.

The exhibition, featured at the Amherst at Deerpark Exhibition Center, offers an “exploration into ancient Egypt and the time of Tutankhamun,” featuring a close look at the discovery of King Tut’s tomb and the treasures found inside.

The release said the exhibition showcases “the cultural heritage of one of history’s most significant archaeological finds” with true-to-life and expertly crafted replicas of artifacts.

For those interested in visiting, this exhibition will open on March 21 and last until Jan. 4, 2026.
