Boeing details overhaul one year after door plug blew off plane

(CNN)– Boeing says it has made strides in improving passenger safety.

The company set a goal last year to turn around quality following several incidents, including two 737 max jet crashes that killed everybody on board and a door plug blowout mid flight.

Boeing says it has addressed most of the action items brought up by employees.

The company says it has also invested in more product safety and quality training for all employees.

It is now requiring mechanics and quality inspectors to stamp their names on completed work.
