Firefighters respond to St. Andrews Road collision, roadway reopen

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Irmo Firefighters have responded to a morning collision on St. Andrew’s Road, said the fire department.

The two car collision happened at the intersection of St. Andrews Road at Bush River on Tuesday morning.

Irmo Fire District said the collision caused heavy damage, and fortunately injuries were minor.

Around 10 a.m. officials were able to get the roadway back open, after firefighters got the scene cleared and the victims were taken to a hospital.
