Columbia Urban League’s Annual MLK Breakfast on MLK Day!
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Columbia Urban League is hosting their annual breakfast to honor Dr. King on Monday.
The 28th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Keeping the Legacy Alive Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. at Brookland Banquet and Conference Center, 1066 Sunset Blvd.
Curtis spoke with the President of the Columbia Urban League, James T. McLawhorn, Jr., about how this event aims to educate the public on the impact Dr. King’s legacy continues to have on the community.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Kim D. Moore, Superintendent of Richland County School District 2.
