CPD: 1 person arrested in connection with deadly Colony Apartments shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police have arrested one person in connection with a deadly shooting at the Colony Apartments.
Police say two people were shot just after 8 p.m., one of those who police say is the suspect.
On Wednesday, Jan. 15, officers arrested 29-year-old William Jiles.
Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook says Giles confronted a male victim and fatally shot him.
He is facing murder charges, and being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
