King Day at the Dome new clear bag policy

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– There is a new security measure coming to this year’s king Day at the Dome ceremony.

Officials with the Department of Public Safety says it will implement a clear-bag policy at the January 20, event.

A spokesperson cited recent national events as the reason for the new policy.

Visitors will be directed to security checkpoints upon arrival at the event.
