Multiple people arrested in connection with nightclub shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has announced the arrest of two men in connection with a shooting at a local nightclub.

RCSD says deputies were called to the club Room Service on Two Notch Road in relation to reports of shots fired and a fight in progress around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19.

When deputies arrived to the scene, they began to search for a vehicle that was reported to have fled the scene.

Once the vehicle was located, a short one-mile pursuit ensued, says the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

When the vehicle came to a stop, deputies found three of the four people in the vehicle had gunshot wounds.

The suspected victims were taken to a local hospital.

The investigation led to two people being arrested at the club for breach of peace aggravated in nature and taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Marcus Brown, 34, and Christopher Fair-Dixon, 30, were arrested for breach of peace aggravated in nature.

The shooting victims are receiving care, and the wounds are not life-threatening.

Deputies say the investigation is on-going, and possibly more suspects and charges are forthcoming.

If anyone has any information about the shooting, call RCSD at 803-576-3000 or 9-1-1.
