ASGDC inmate arrested for assault and battery, say Richland Co. deputies

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies have arrested an inmate for assault and battery.

On Wednesday, Jan. 22, around 11:50 a.m., deputies responded to reports of an individual being stabbed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

According to deputies, 22-year-old Traverse Webber stabbed another inmate multiple times.

Deputies say the victim received non-life threatening injuries and was treated in the medical ward.
