COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can enjoy Free Fridays at Riverbanks Zoo.
Every Friday in January and February residents of Richland and Lexington County can receive free daytime admission.
You just need a proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or a property tax statement.
Columbia Animal Services is still having a New Year’s Adoption Special.
All adoptions are only $1 all this month. All pets are eligible.
The shelter on Humane Lane is open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Law Enforcement Run for Special Olympics South Carolina.
The event is at the Beaver Den Polar Plunge on Sunday, February 16.
Registration begins at 2 p.m. and includes a costume contest.
All proceeds will be going to Special Olympics South Carolina.
