FDA recalls popular face moisturizers

(CNN)–  A popular face moisturizer is being pulled.

First Aid Beauty has voluntarily recalled nearly 28 hundred containers of its “Ultra Repair Cream in coconut vanilla”.

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the product recall is the result of a “current good manufacturing practice deviation”.

Officials say the jars were supposed to be quarantined but were mistakenly distributed nationally.

The moisturizer was sold exclusively on FirstAidBeauty.com

No other First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Creams are included in the recall.
