SC Highway Patrol graduates 127th class

 

 

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — South Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers help keep the Palmetto State’s roadways and communities safe.

First, a trooper must complete law enforcement training.

Friday morning, South Carolina Highway Patrol swore in 26 new state troopers.

Trooper Jeffrey Young came out of retirement to join the patrol again. He was one of three graduates who received an award named after distinguished former troopers.  

Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette spoke to the 127th graduating class at Friday’s ceremony.
