Water service in Sparkman Drive area temporarily interrupted due to water main break

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The water service along Sparkman Drive between N Shorecrest Road and Harlem Street has been temporarily interrupted due to water main break, said Columbia Water.

Officials said the area experienced a 6” water main break on Friday, Jan. 24.

In order to make the necessary repairs, Columbia Water said the water service may be temporarily interrupted in the affected area.

The temporary interruption may disturb existing sediment in the water mains in the surrounding area leading to discolored water.
