Columbia Police arrest 19-year-old in connection with fatal Doctor’s Circle shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police has arrested a 19-year-old in connection with a fatal shooting of a man on Doctor’s Circle, said police.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Nicholas Jackson from Hartsville in connection to a fatal shooting that happened on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Jackson is housed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center charged with murder, and armed robbery with a deadly weapon.
Investigators believe robbery may have been the motive for the crime.
Also, they are continuing to follow-up on leads and identify other people involved in the isolated incident.
