Elderly lady taken to hospital after crashing into gas station, police say

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– An elderly lady has been taken to a hospital after crashing into a Gervais Street gas station, says Columbia Police.

The woman who was driving a while car was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after crashing into the Shell gas station at 2020 Gervais St (Harden St).

Officers say no other injuries have been reported.

And the driver will be cited for disregarding a traffic signal, driving left of center, and driving too fast for conditions.
