December 2024 largest SC workforce ever
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina’s Department of Employment and Workforce director says the state ended 2024 with its largest workforce ever.
Director William Floyd says there were more than 2.5 million people which is an increase of more than 66 thousand from the previous year.
That state’s unemployment rate is 4.7%.
