COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, get ready for a fun time for a good cause.
The Ritz Fest starts this weekend at the Ritz Theater on Main Street in Newberry with live music, a silent auction and more.
The Ritz Fest Eve event starts tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m., and the main event starts at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.1.
Officials are raising 10,000 for the Jason Foundation for their efforts towards youth suicide prevention.
Impractical Jokers Star Joe Gatto is bringing the laughs to the Soda City!
His “Let’s Get Into It Tour” hits the Koger Center tomorrow on Friday, January 31.

Time is running out to take advantage of the new year’s adoption special this month.
All adoptions at Columbia Animal Services are only $1 on Friday, Jan. 31, and all pets are eligible.
The shelter is located on Humane Lane and is open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Also, the Columbia Animal Services is holding two adoption events this weekend.
On Saturday, Feb.1, Its Meow or Never event will be offering free cat adoptions from 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.
Then on Sunday, Feb. 2, the shelter will hold a Pints and Pups event at Jake’s on Devine Street, where there will be free dog adoptions.
If you do decide to adopt a furry new best friend, the shelter asks that you bring a leash and a collar.
